Eagle Totem , its interesting the eagle was first chosen by the Roman Legions to inspire the troops, then the American military and for a brief time the Nazi war machine. The First Nations Eagle is much more colorful, and connected to the West Coast Landscape. – Acrylic on canvas

I painted this Eagle Totem as part of the First Nations collaboration. Jimmy O’Brien, a K’Omox First Nation photographer asked me to interpret some his photographs.
